After some research, and careful reflection, I’ve made the decision to discontinue this blog for the time being. The level of local interest in independently operated sites like this one is clearly not enough to justify the amount of effort needed to maintain it.

Footage from last night’s “First Night” celebration in Tacoma. Not the best video footage in the west, but it’s all we have. Lot’s of hooting and screaming.
After ten seconds, or so, at the beginning, the filmographer realizes he/she has the camera sideways, and corrects it.
